Cylindrical Roller Bearings

The cylindrical roller bearings is a radial rolling bearing in which the rolling elements are cylindrical rollers. The bearing is a structure in which the inner ring and the outer ring are separable. Depending on the ferrule with or without ribs, it can be divided into single row cylindrical roller bearings such as NU, NJ, NUP, N, NF and double row cylindrical roller bearings such as NNU and NN.

Structural features of cylindrical roller bearings

The internal structure of the cylindrical roller bearing is arranged in parallel by rollers, and a cage or spacer is provided between the rollers to prevent the rollers from tilting or rubbing between the rollers, thereby effectively preventing an increase in the rotational torque. Because cylindrical rollers and raceways are line contact bearings, these bearings have a high load carrying capacity and can withstand high radial loads. Since very little rolling friction between the collar and the rib elements, the cylindrical roller bearing is suitable for high speed rotation.
